And so, when you see me stretching to find ANYTHING substantive to write about in the middle of football season, well, you probably know what's going on inside my little black heart.
Hi, I'm a Black Hole.
In other words, its hard to find a whole lot of enthusiasm about anything Cougar these days, unless you're jacked about Ken Bone's newest recruit getting busted for having "less than 40gs of pot" on him last week.
Fortunately for us, the next few days threatens to change all that. For example, later tonight, we might find out what new form of competition Mike Leach brings to practice! I mean, last night it was soccer penalty kicks, last week it was dodgeball, followed by the old mighty egg toss.
So, tonight I'm doubling down on either Twister or Parcheezi--hoping to god that Leach doesn't pull out the old "resort to the sack race" trick.......
Beyond that, there's always the chance that football might become interesting again. And in all candor, I'm suspecting that it just might.
In fact, I'm willing to double down that we will see two BIG upsets in the Pac-12 this weekend. The question of course is "which one?"
So, in an effort to ruin my Football Friday post five days early, I give you the three games from which two shockers will result....
USC @ Arizona
Oregon State @ Washington
Washington State @ Stanford
Your charge is to pick the two--assuming that you're up to the competition.
That's all I got for today. Sure was fun watching the Dawgs get run, wasn't it?

What’s this, all you guys hanging around the sidelines of the blog with lost puppy looks on your faces, crying about the next opponent. Use those fingers for something other than protection against getting hit in the face with another disappointment. And tough? – hell no you’re not tough. (Well maybe TrueCoug89 is tougher than the rest.)
I bet you have been listening to your fat little girlfriends. “Ooooh, look at Oregon. Ooooh look at the Beavers. Why can’t your team be like that”. You’re starting to sound like them. Now grow a pair and start blogging like you mean it.
Cougars don’t let a few losses bring them down (particularly with a bye week to recover). The question is not if there is a chance to upset Stanford, but how bad the freaking upset will be.

@oldsavage Indeed, I have often been called the Brett Bartolone of Cougar football superfans.
Is anyone else having trouble loading the site? I've had a "error loading feed data" on the home screen for the past week and have no idea what that means. I'm also having issues when I post comments. The posts don't always show up as they should, and sometimes in some strange spots.
@Ambush184 I've also had that error message, but that's a Bloguin issue and not a @livefyre issue, I would assume. They are seperate entities. @jmatthicks , confirm or deny?
Now there seems to be a change in formatting. None of the pictures on the left side are visible, they're just litle lines and the font is changed.

No, I have no idea if it is Air Supply or Simply Red, but I do know that Air Supply was just two guys. Also, does anyone really know how to play Parcheesi?
I just hope we don't find ourself with Gilbertson taking all the snaps in practice next week.
