I know we want to be positive......but tonight was that sledgehammer reminder of just how far this program has to go. Granted, Oregon was the very definition of BUZZSAW, after their domination of Cal last week and it just continued tonight, executing their offense at will the entire first half. And this Coug team just keeps getting more and more beat up by the day, now with Jeff Tuel injuring his hip/back/buttocks while nearly busted in half by a vicious sandwich-of-a-sack by two Oregon defensive linemen.
But even after all that, man, 158 total yards and 6 points? Good luck finding anything to feel good about in this dog of a game.
Time to look ahead and hope they can compete next week.
